Too bad it won't support the Micro-USB adapter which is the current standard for smartphones.No fault on the seller as it clearly states in the description this is for Mini-USB. I should have done some more research. I ended up throwing the thing thing away as it's not worth bothering with a return on a $4 item.

BlackBerry 9700 Charging Pod

Just purchased the Bold 9780 Blackberry on Monday. I went to my provider's and Blackberry's websites looking for accesories including a charger, none of which were available by either. I went to this distibutor hoping that something work and ordered this charger on Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday!!! And it works perfectly. The price is also incredible especially since it is listed for $20 more from BlackBerry. Pleased is an understatement!
Compared to another one I had ....this is great :) its way cheaper then the ones in stores and works the same exatly the same..I would buy again if I broke mine

I always find myself wearing down my battery in the middle of the day. This is a much better alternative to having to leave my BB plugged into a charger. Just pop in the fully charged spare battery, and leave this charger plugged in, no being without your phone for an hour while it charges. It's also good protection to keep the battery terminals from getting shorted when you carry it around.
This is an excellent option for charging. I had to get it because my phone stoppped charging battery through the regular charger.

We were so excited to have this item for our recent trip. But the charging bar stopped working properly. Then a piece fell off of it... an we had no extra chargers with us for our phones, etc!We have emailed the store that supplied it to find out about a replacement since this was a christmas gift and we are past the 30 day amazon warranty... fantastic idea but really disappointed in the quality....
Bought it for my husband who travels extensively. Very convenient so he doesn't have to unplug & pack each charger everytime since he has an iPhone4 & Blackberry. He just keeps this travel charger in his suitcase. The case is nice and sturdy, each tip & the charger works great, and charges quite quickly even if multiple devices are plugged in. They only send you one tip for each compatible device (ie one for iPhone, one for Blackberry, one for Motorola). Only way it could be better is if you can specify which tips you want so you're not stuck with 3-4 tips that you won't use since you don't own those devices. Poorly constructed. I charged my phone two times from this charger before it died on me. After the second time the built in battery would no longer hold a charge from the solar panels. What a waste of money. The same thing also happened to a friend of mine who bought the same charger.

I always had my phone die half way through the day n have to leave my phone on the charger. I bought an extra battery and this charger and it's great! I can charge the extra battery in the car while I'm driving or at home plugged to the wall! Such a great little device. Worth every penny! The only very small downside was that the led light for when it's fully charged, is going in and out. No biggie because it still charges my battery and that's my main concern. Awesome stuff!

I really like this battery pack and it is ultra portable. The product looks like the picture and it is simple to use. This product recharges phones really fast and worked well with my iPhone. I had no trouble with this product. It has a lot of capacity so I think i can charge my phone at least a few times before I need to recharge the battery again
I keep it as an emergency power backup for my phone and other small devices. Construction of the unit is fairly solid. The included power cables were what made the unit appear of cheap quality and I gave them away. I use the USB power adapters that came with my devices and plug direct into this unit. Worked great to extend the usefull time of my I-Pad when I recently was on an 11 hour flight. I was able to listen to audio books or watch movies the entire trip.

The low profile of the charger is great! It will fit into the cigarette lighter and stick out only about an inch.The 4' long cable is also great!But, the charger just wouldn't charge my A855 droid phone. I tried the charger in two different cigarette lighters and the seller sent me a 2nd charger to see if I had a defective unit, but that one didn't charge either.Not sure why it wouldn't charge the phone so I had to buy a different model. One by Scosche model USB12V2A is working well for me.
This is a great little charger. The blue LED that is positioned under the two USB ports is very bright, but with my center console port, it's not distracting at all. Only thing that was a little odd wasn't with the charger, but with the cable that came with it -- it's an LG data/charging cable, which doesn't work with my Motorola and Samsung phones, so that was just extra parts for me, but might be useful if someone's got an LG phone.
