- I've bought multiple knockoff car chargers for my iPhone and i'm pleased/shocked to announce that this one has held its own. It hasn't broken on me as yet, and i'd say i've had it for at least a month now. That's a record for me. :)
- The good: I was immediately impressed with the size and build quality. All the connections are tight (USB to adaptor, Apple plug to device), the springs are firm, all the pieces line up, and it's a nice tight fit in any socket.The bad: It only works in 4 of the 5 power sources I used, including 2 out of 3 cars. Worked in my old car, but the positive pin in the middle does not quite reach the back of the socket, rendering it unusable in my new car. That's probably the issue many negative reviewers had.Summary: I would recommend this in a heartbeat if the sockets you normally use are shallow to moderate.Side Note: Chargers will get hot if the device being charged draws a lot of current.
