- This product looks to be very well built.I was able to get the inner sleeve out easier than most had described, this piece of plastic needs to be taken out in order to put a phone with a case into the cradle. I held the unit upside down and put my fingernails into the crack near the power connector. - The car mount by Motorola is a good product, well designed and sturdy. I purchased one for a relative and she was very pleased with it. However, if you use a hard case for the Droid 2, the case must be removed to use the windshield mount since it is not adjustable. Because of this, I purchased a Arkon SM415 which allows the use of the hard case for the Droid 2 and can be used for other varying size smart phones since the mount is adjustable. This mount works excellent and and holds the phone very secure in the cradle. You have to purchase the car charger separate, but at the price of $19.95 and since it will hold a Droid 2 with the hard case, makes it a better buy and better unit. Arkon has…
