  • I have had this item for 3 day's now, and it does everything I expected it to do base on the reviews; I give this SOLAR charger a 5 star based on what this unit is, and does, and not based on what I magically want it to do :) Yes I did take a chance on this purchase, but the option of returning an item is available.   • Being that this charger didn't come with any technical information, I tried to gather/measure what I could. My biggest problem with this charger is that there is no indicator of when the batteries are charged and the charger just continues to pull a constant current from the USB source.Here is a little more information on the three LEDs used to test the battery in position 1:- Red LED lights when cell is .8V (draws 60 mA)- Yellow LED lights when cell is 1.2V (draws 150 mA)- Green LED lights when cell is 1.5V+ (draws 270 mA!)Current measured when charging a device (LG Optimus V*) from XTG-SLRBC:- 310 mA from two or four new alkalines cells- 280 mA from two or four fully charged NiMh cellsCurrent…
