  • this charger/adapter will charge an iPad2 for sure by itself. when you plug in another device in the upper slot it blinks on and off and will stop charging the iPad2. so if you are charging an iPad2, plug it in the lower slot and leave the top one blank.i havent timed it but it appears to charge just as fast as the Apple charger.got mine as an inexpensive iPad2 charger solely.
  • This works great. It charges my iPhone and iPad at the same time and works like a charm. If you are looking for an inexpensive solution to your dual power needs this is the product for you. My only complaint is that the adapter is bigger than I would prefer, and there is an annoying red light on the top. Otherwise, it is great.
