Arctic Cooling ARCTIC C1 Mobile - External battery pack - solar / USB Li-Ion 4.44 Wh
  • We purchased this solar charger for camping usage. It is well designed and appears to be reasonably robust for dry use. It worked as advertised. Full light charging took about a day and a half worth of charging, and the capacity is relatively lightweight... able to charge a nominal cell phone completely, but that's about it.If you need to charge multiple devices or charge a device more than every two days, get a larger solar panel with a larger battery capacity. But for single use, this one works OK, and the cost makes it good for an impulse purchase. And feel happy about 'going green' and not buying disposable batteries !
  • Nice, reliable and compact little battery charger but please note the power rating of the battery. It claims it has a 4440 mWh battery which is correct. However, batteries are normally rated in mAh which you can find by dividing the watt rating (4440 mWh) by the voltage (3.7) and you get a result of 1200 mAh. This is often done by manufacturers to deceive consumers into thinking that they are getting a more powerful battery than what they really are.
