K3 Wind and Solar Mobile Charger (Black)
- Just purchased this item about 2 weeks ago. Out of the box I plugged my HTC EVO 4G phone to see if it charges and yes, it started charging my phone very quickly. I first charged the unit with the A/C adapter charger to fully charge it and now just leave the unit in my car for emergency charging of my phone or anyone else's. It seems to hold a big charge that should be enough for any phone, including my battery guzzling HTC EVO 4G with the Extended Battery.Recommended for emergency charging. Note, its not a small unit, but does what it advertises.
- I received my K3 a couple of weeks ago and have used it pretty much nonstop ever since. I charge my Android phone with it every day, and can get a bit of a charge on my kindle with it as well. It stops charging the Kindle after about five minutes but will resume charging it if you plug it back in. It will charge my phone all the way without pause every time.I took it on a business trip to Canada last week and was able to get a continuous charge by propping it up by the air conditioning vent in the hotel so the windmill spun continously day and night. I would put it on the windowsill in the afternoon to get a solar charge as well. The charge meter never dropped below the third light (out of four)…
